Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Frank) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese fighter of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from Hasegawa.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures the Japanese single-engine Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate fighter, given the Allied code name Frank. It is an injection-molded plastic model in 1:72 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. The kit has finely engraved panel lines and a decal sheet with period markings.
The Ki-84 Hayate was among the highest-performing Japanese fighters of the Second World War. It combined decent speed, rate of climb and armor and was a capable opponent for Allied fighters at the end of the war. It was used on many battlefields in the Pacific and over the home islands.
The kit is among the straightforward, easily built models. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the fuselage joints. An airbrush works well for Japanese camouflage and bare metal surfaces; bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. The cockpit comes to life after priming and drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
