1:48 UH-1C is a set of three-dimensional colored decals from Quinta Studio for the interior of the UH-1C helicopter in 1:48 scale. This is the full version of the set.

The set holds interior details printed three-dimensionally and in color on decal paper. They transfer straight onto the parts of the kit, so the pilot's compartment takes on a raised, colored look without the small instruments, placards and upholstery having to be painted with a brush. On a helicopter, where practically the whole cabin is visible on the model, this is the quickest route to a convincing result. This is the basic, that is the full version of the set; a smaller variant of the same subject is made under the designation Small version with a narrower scope.
The areas under the decal have to be smooth and degreased; they are sprayed with a dark base shade and coated with gloss clear, on which the part holds. Cut the part out close to the edge, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and let it rest on a cloth until it begins to slide freely on the backing. Carry it onto the part in one piece, position it and press it down with a soft cotton swab so that neither water nor air stays under it. The film is thicker than on ordinary decals, so it takes more repositioning but follows sharp edges less readily. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin and ruin the part. Let the interior dry thoroughly before you close the fuselage.
Three-dimensional interiors are cut to fit one particular kit. Check before buying that the set matches the model you are building. Check the exact list of parts on the packaging.
The package contains the decals only. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
