A-20 Havoc/Boston Dinghy 1:72 is a resin set of the dinghy stowed in the fuselage, an easy accessory for making a model more accurate.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a simple resin detail set from a series of quick accessories, not an aircraft model. It contains the inflatable dinghy which on the real aircraft was stowed in the fuselage behind the pilot under a hinged cover, in 1:72 scale. It is intended for models of the American Douglas A-20 Havoc / Boston bomber.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc (Boston in British service) was a twin-engined attack and light bomber aircraft of the Second World War. The stowed dinghy was part of the equipment for flights over the sea and it is a nice detail for showing the stowage bay open.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up; bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the dinghy in a rubber or canvas shade and pick out the folds by drybrushing.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
