The Martin B-26 Marauder is an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War with radial piston engines and short, relatively small wings. It was fast and tough but forgave little, and so it was held to be a machine that would not take rough work on takeoff and landing. The main landing gear wheels changed during production: early machines had tires with a diamond tread pattern, later ones a different tread. It is precisely by the wheels that a model can be placed with the right production batch.

Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: ordinary cement for plastic models holds only on polystyrene, and for other materials use cyanoacrylate. Cut the surplus material and the marks left by manufacturing off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest carefully, so that the shape of the contact patch is preserved. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. A tire is not coal black; a dark gray tone looks better. Set the hub apart and run a brush or a mask along the transition between it and the tire. If the wheel has the flattening suggested, turn it toward the ground when gluing.
A set of wheels is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
