This resin set from the maker Aires in 1:72 scale replaces the engine exhaust nozzles with faithful copies with detailed inner and outer surfaces. The simplified parts of a kit are thus replaced by precisely executed nozzles with a fine relief. It is an accessory to be built into a kit, not a stand-alone model.
The Convair B-58 Hustler is an American supersonic strategic bomber of the late 1950s. Its delta wing and four turbojets slung in nacelles under the wing are characteristic. It was the first American bomber capable of supersonic flight and it introduced a number of solutions that were advanced at the time.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The nozzles are painted in metallic shades with heat tinting; a combination of metallics and tinting varnishes with a final wash is recommended. Given the natural metal finish of the B-58, mind a smooth base. Protect your airways while sanding.
