An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Harrier GR Mk.I combat aircraft in 1:72 scale from Aero Plast. The model is supplied on sprues for assembly and painting, including a clear canopy part. The exact contents of the package and the marking options are stated on the box of the edition.
The Harrier GR.1 was the first production version of the groundbreaking British aircraft with vertical and short take-off and landing capability. This was made possible by the vectored thrust of a jet engine with rotating nozzles. The aircraft entered service at the end of the 1960s as an attack and reconnaissance type and became the basis of the whole later family of Harriers, operated by a number of air forces.
Use liquid cement for plastic and carefully clean up the mating seams of the fuselage and the wings. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage; glue the clear canopy with canopy cement so that it does not fog. A primer and an airbrush are a good choice; British aircraft usually carried two-tone upper surface camouflage. Lay the decals over a gloss clear coat and finish with a matte varnish and light accentuation of the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
