Peewit Yak-23 1:72 are precise self-adhesive painting masks for clean masking of the canopy glazing and the wheels of this early Soviet jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks made of thin washi (kabuki) tape from the Czech manufacturer Peewit. It allows fast and clean masking of the canopy glazing and the wheels when spraying with an airbrush or with a brush. The masks follow the shape of the part well, they hold along the engraved edges and they leave no adhesive residue when removed. They are cut to fit a specific kit of the Yak-23 aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The Yakovlev Yak-23 was one of the first Soviet jet fighters, developed shortly after the Second World War. It was a light single-engine machine with a straight wing, which served at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s and was also delivered to several friendly countries.
For modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the canopy and the wheels without the lengthy cutting of tape. The set saves time and improves the cleanliness of the finished paintwork.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
