A resin detail set in 1:72 scale that replaces the plain plastic seats from the kit with more faithful castings with molded safety belts. It is not a helicopter model, but an accessory for its cabin. Seats with belts are clearly visible once the glazing is on, and a fine resin casting captures the stitching, the reinforcements and the waviness of the straps far better than flat plastic, so the interior looks more faithful at once. The parts are intended for more experienced modelers used to working with resin.
The Kamov Ka-27 (NATO reporting name Helix) is a Soviet and later Russian naval helicopter with a distinctive pair of contra-rotating main rotors one above the other, so that it needs no tail rotor. It served mainly in anti-submarine work and in rescue and liaison tasks from ship decks. The layout of the cabin and the seats is typical of this type.
