The Quickboost pitot tube and antenna for the P-40 Warhawk in 1:72 scale. A resin detail accessory of the Aires brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the manufacturer Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone set holding a pitot tube and an antenna, with which you refine a finished model of the P-40 Warhawk fighter. The fine resin rendering offers cleaner shapes of the small details.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled Allison V12 engine. The pitot tube sensed the airspeed and the antenna was connected with the radio equipment of the aircraft.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Fit the thin parts only at the end of the build, so that they do not get damaged.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
