This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. It contains an accurately shaped final exhaust nozzle for models of the French Dassault Super Mystère B.2 fighter. The casting has a fine inner structure and convincing shapes that a small plastic part lacks. Intended for 1:72 scale.
The Dassault Super Mystère B.2 was a French fighter and one of the first Western European aircraft capable of supersonic flight in level attitude. It grew out of the Mystère series and carried a turbojet with an afterburner. Besides the French Air Force, Israel also operated it. The rear fuselage section with its prominent nozzle is characteristic.
In 1:72 scale work with a feel for small parts. Wash the mold release off the nozzle, cut the casting block off and sand the cut with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the interior in metallic and burnt shades and bring out the depth with a dark wash.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
