The Dual Combo release contains two complete injection-molded plastic kits of the American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a richly equipped package in which, besides the plastic, you will find photo-etched parts, resin extras and self-adhesive painting masks. A wide choice of decal schemes is included, so you can build a pair of models in different finishes. The model is built from individual parts and is supplied unpainted.
The North American P-51D Mustang is one of the most successful fighters of the Second World War. The D version was marked by a teardrop canopy for excellent visibility, an armament of six 12.7 mm machine guns and a supercharged Packard Merlin engine. Thanks to its long range, Mustangs escorted Allied bombers deep over enemy territory and made their mark on every major front.
Cut the photo-etched and resin parts from their casting blocks and wash the resin free of mold release agent before gluing; attach them with cyanoacrylate glue. The masks included make clean painting of the canopy frames easier. The natural metal finish of the Mustangs stands out with metallic paints on a smooth surface; stir the metallic paint thoroughly before spraying and leave the polished metal areas for the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
