A detail set of landing gear wheels for the American P-51D Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale. The wheels carry a diamond tread pattern in variant 2 and replace the plastic parts from the base kit. The accurate casting captures the tire profile and the hub detail faithfully.
The set usually contains the main wheels and the tail wheel. Different tread patterns matched different tire makers during the war, so Eduard offers the wheels in several variants; this one has the diamond tread pattern. Faithful wheels markedly improve the look of the landing gear of a model.
This is a standalone detail set. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
