An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale capturing the late production form of this heavily armored vehicle. The model is renowned for the fineness of its parts; the package is completed by photo-etched parts and metal barrels. Figures are usually enclosed as well. The small parts and the fine detail make the build more demanding.
The Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. F was an attempt to create an infantry support vehicle with markedly thickened armor on the basis of a light tank, meant to break through fortified lines. Only a few dozen were built; some of them reached the Eastern Front, while the rest served mostly for training. The vehicle is therefore among the interesting and less usual subjects.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull first, and only then close the hull up. Glue the photo-etched and metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the primer and the base color have been sprayed with an airbrush, the detail comes out with washes and pigments, which pick out the cast surfaces and add dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
