In the box you will find injection-molded plastic sprues, clear parts for the canopy glazing, photo-etch and a set of decals. It is an injection-molded plastic model that is glued and painted before it is finished.
The Dromader is a single-engine high-wing aircraft with fixed landing gear, developed in the 1970s by the Polish WSK PZL-Mielec works. It was powered by the ASz-62IR radial engine of around 1000 horsepower. The machine made its name as a workhorse over fields and forests: it sprayed chemicals, fought pests, and thanks to a large tank in the fuselage it proved itself fighting forest fires as well. A bulky fuselage, a rugged structure and a distinctive silhouette make it an easily recognized type. It earned the nickname Dromader, meaning dromedary, for the humped shape of the fuselage with its high-set cockpit. It became one of the most successful Polish aircraft of the postwar era and spread to a number of countries.
Glue the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic. Mask the canopy glazing before spraying. Agricultural and firefighting machines tend to be strikingly colorful, and a white or gray base helps the saturated shades. Service wear, spray staining and faded panels are built up with a wash and fine pigments. Bring out the propeller and the leading edges, which suffer most from particle impact, with paint chipped down to bare metal.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
