Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the export PZL P.24 fighter in the A and F production versions in Turkish markings from the Polish brand IBG models. The package is conceived as a full modeling box: besides injection-molded plastic it also contains photo-etched parts for the interior and the exterior, a clear canopy part and decals for several marking options.
The PZL P.24 grew out of the Polish P.11 fighter and was created solely for export, because the Polish Air Force was covered by its own versions. It kept the characteristic cranked gull wing, all-metal structure and fixed landing gear, but received a more powerful French radial engine and a stronger airframe. The individual versions differed mainly in armament; on some aircraft the basis was a pair of 20 mm cannon complemented by machine guns. Turkey was one of the largest users of the type and built some of its aircraft at home under license. P.24s also flew in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, and in 1940 they saw combat.
The cockpit is open, so turn your attention to it right at the start: the etched belts and the instrument panel will be on view the whole time. The engine cowling is designed to go together with a minimum of filling, but check the joint dry all the same. Glue the landing gear braces and struts on only after painting, or they are hard to mask. The Turkish scheme is rewarding, because it combines smooth surfaces with prominent markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
