1:72 U-boat VIIC/41 is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the German submarine in the VIIC/41 variant. It is an add-on to a kit, not a stand-alone model.

The set contains photo-etched metal parts that on the model replace plastic moldings in the places where plastic is too thick for the scale. The result is a finer and, in scale, more believable surface, above all on the deck and the superstructure, where the model is examined most closely. It is intended for the VIIC/41 variant in 1:72 scale and does not replace the basic kit.
The VIIC/41 was a later development variant of the German Type VIIC submarine of the Second World War. It differed from the older VIIC mainly in the design of the pressure hull, which was made stronger, and in a number of details given by the period of building. Dimensionally the two variants are very close, so customers easily confuse them, but the accessory sets for them are not the same, which is exactly why Eduard lists a separate item for each of them.
