Injection-molded plastic kit of the naval version of the Westland Lynx helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has finely engraved panel and rivet texture, a well worked-out cabin and cockpit interior and separately molded doors. The box contains parts in gray plastic, a clear glazing part and a decal sheet.
The Westland Lynx is a British twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter that first flew in 1971 and entered service at the end of the 1970s. It was built in both land and naval forms and served with the armed forces of more than a dozen countries. The Mk.90 version is the shipborne machine operated by the Danish Navy, intended for patrolling over the sea, action against surface targets and rescue duties from the decks of frigates.
For the joints between plastic parts use thin modeling cement, which welds them precisely and without excess. Before painting it is advisable to apply a primer, which evens out the surface and brings out the engraved texture. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and finish the small details with a brush. A gloss varnish compatible with the paint used will make the decals easier to apply without trapped bubbles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
