A photo-etched set of seatbelts for Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer FineMolds. A detail accessory for the cockpit, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory. It is a photo-etched set of seatbelts for the seats of Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from the Japanese manufacturer FineMolds. It is the second set in the series and is prepared for aircraft of the N1K family. The belts bring the cockpit interior to life and give it a realistic detail that the seat alone lacks.
The set brings fine photo-etched seatbelts with faithfully rendered buckles and fittings. They are fitted to the pilot's seat and refine the look of a cockpit that is open or visible through the glazing. It is intended for naval fighters of the N1K family.
Separate and shape the photo-etched belts carefully so that they drape naturally over the seat. A drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate) is enough to attach them. Give the belts a primer first and paint them in the shade of period fabric; the buckles can be picked out in a metal shade. A light wash will emphasize the detail of the fittings.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
