A set of photo-etched seat belts for aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1:48 scale from FineMolds. A detail accessory for the cockpit, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory. It is a set of photo-etched seat belts for the seats of aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War, in 1:48 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds. It is the second set in the series and is prepared for the aircraft of the N1K family. True belts bring the interior of the cockpit to life and give it the detail a bare seat lacks.
The set brings fine photo-etched seat belts with true rendering of the buckles and the fittings. They are fitted on the pilot's seat and refine the look of the cockpit seen through the canopy glazing. It is intended for the naval fighters of the N1K family.
Separate the photo-etched belts carefully and shape them so that they drape naturally over the seat. A drop of cyanoacrylate (super glue) is enough to hold them. Give the belts a primer first and paint them in the shade of period fabric, then bring out the buckles in a metal shade. A light wash will emphasize the detail of the fittings.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
