This detail set from Reskit in 1:48 scale contains two Soviet R-40RD air-to-air guided missiles (NATO reporting name AA-6 Acrid). The parts are 3D printed in resin with fine detail on the fins and the surface, and they are meant as an armament accessory for an aircraft model, not as a kit in their own right.
The R-40 was a large Soviet long-range guided missile developed for heavy interceptors. The R-40RD version had semi-active radar homing and was carried above all by the MiG-25PD and MiG-25PDS. You will use the set to arm the stations of a model in this scale faithfully.
Wash the uncured resin off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the seams using respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and go over them with primer before painting. Remove and glue the thin fins with particular care.
This is an armament accessory. It does not contain the aircraft model, glue or paints.
