A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the maker Xtradecal. It includes markings for American carrier aircraft that served with British roundels in the Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War. The decals are printed with accurate register and add the factory and unit markings of the machine in question.
During the war the Fleet Air Arm operated a number of American-built machines delivered under the Lend-Lease program. These aircraft carried British roundels and unit codes, often with names of their own that differed from the original American ones. The set concentrates on these machines in attractive period schemes.
Work on a smooth gloss varnish. Cut the design out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the surface of the model. For a perfect fit into engraved lines and details use a softening and setting solution, and finally cover everything with a protective varnish of the sheen you want.
This is a stand-alone set of decals. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
