An injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. It combines figures of the crew with the Stugna-P anti-tank missile system, so it can be built as a small vignette on its own or used to complete a larger scene with vehicles. The center of gravity of the set lies precisely in the figures.
The Stugna-P is a portable anti-tank missile system of Ukrainian design. In portable form it consists of a launcher on a tripod, a guidance unit and a missile in a transport container. The guidance unit can be placed away from the launch position and the system operated remotely, which is interesting for the modeler in terms of composition: the crew does not have to stand at the weapon and the scene gains space that way. The system is also made in an export version. For a build it is a rewarding subject, because it is easily recognizable contemporary equipment with simple shapes.
First rid the figures of mold seams and flash, try the assembly dry and only then glue it with thin cement for plastic. Fill the gaps at the shoulders and the waist with putty or sculpting compound and sand them down, otherwise they will remain visible once painted. Build the tripod and the launcher carefully, the thin parts bend easily. Apply a thin base coat before painting. In 1:35 uniforms are best handled with acrylic paints in layers: a base tone, a dark wash into the folds and a lighter highlight on the edges. Build skin from a darker base up to lighter layers. Finally blend the set with its base using fine pigments, so that the footwear and the bottom of the tripod match the ground.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
