A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale with the upper armor for the early, old version of the German Sd.Kfz. 250 Alte light armored personnel carrier, that is, the variant to which the Greif command vehicle also belongs. This is not a vehicle model and not a complete kit but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that replace the coarser plastic panels of the upper structure with metal of scale thinness and faithful fittings.
The early Sd.Kfz. 250 Alte version had a more complex, angular upper structure with more armor plates, unlike the later simplified Neu version. The vehicle served as a light half-track carrier in many specialized forms, including command versions.
Bend the panels of the upper armor precisely on a sheet metal bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Take care over the correct angles of the angular surfaces. Once painted, with a primer and a base shade, pick out the edges and the rivets with drybrushing and weather the surface with a wash and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
