A car kit of the Nissan Skyline GT-R sports coupe with the body designation BNR34 in the V-spec II Nür version for the 2002 model year. The 1:24 scale is an established standard for road cars. Aoshima issues more than one form of the Skyline GT-R line, differing in tuner, version and year, so go by the body designation, the name of the version and the year stated in the name when ordering.
The Skyline GT-R of the R34 generation with the factory code BNR34 closes the classic era of this model. It was powered by an inline six force-fed by a pair of turbochargers, and the power went to all four wheels through an electronically controlled system that fed torque to the front axle as needed. The car was rounded out by rear-wheel steering and an extensive set of instruments in the middle of the dashboard. The V-spec II Nür version was a limited series from the end of production and its name points to the German circuit where Nissan tuned the car. It is one of the most sought-after Japanese sports cars of all.
Put the body together dry and check the fit, then sand the parting lines, polish the surface and apply a filler primer. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and once cured go over it with a gloss clear coat, or else polish it gently with a compound. Apply the decals onto a gloss base, settle them with softener and clear-coat again. Finish the engine bay, the interior and the underside before you close the body up. Bring out the wheels and brakes with metallic shades and a light dark wash, and leave the tires flat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
