Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the Italian Grillo class torpedo boat of the First World War period in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian brand Mikromir. It is a new mold with an injection-molded hull, which captures one of the most unusual vessels of its time.
The Grillo class boats were small shallow-draft torpedo boats of the Italian Royal Navy (Regia Marina) built in 1918 at the SVAN yard in Venice. Their distinctive feature was the tracks running along the sides of the hull, which were meant to let the boat climb over the anti-submarine barriers protecting the entrances to enemy harbors.
It is a good idea to dry-fit the hull first, to clean the joints up carefully and to bond the fine parts with super glue. The model comes into its own once sprayed with an airbrush, given washes and set on a suitable stand or a water surface in a diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
