A set of self-adhesive masking films from Js Work for spraying camouflage onto a model of the M88A1 recovery vehicle in 1:35 scale. The films have shapes cut out in advance to match the camouflage pattern and let you apply even a broken soft-edged pattern cleanly and repeatably with an airbrush. It is not a paint and not a kit, but an aid for painting a built model.

The real subject

The M88A1 is an American armored recovery vehicle derived from the chassis of medium and main battle tanks. It serves to recover and tow damaged equipment directly in the field and carries a winch, a crane boom and a dozer blade. Its versions remain in service with a number of armies to this day.

Use

• clean the surface of the model and apply the base shade of the camouflage
• stick the films onto the right places according to the enclosed diagram
• spray the second shade of the camouflage with an airbrush
• once dry, remove the masks carefully
