Heki static grass in a forest floor shade, fibers 2 to 3 millimeters, 20 grams in the package. Low growth for woodland undergrowth and shaded places.
Responsibility details are not available.
Static grass consists of short fibers which stand upright in glue, so that growth reads as growing. This package weighs 20 grams, the fibers are 2 to 3 millimeters and they carry a forest floor shade, that is the subdued brown-green tone of leaf litter, needles and dry blades under trees. The short length corresponds in H0 scale to grass roughly 17 to 26 centimeters tall, in 1:35 scale to roughly 7 to 10 centimeters; this is therefore low, sparse growth of the kind that grows where the sun only gets in occasionally.
Coat the area with glue and apply the fibers from an applicator which charges them electrostatically; only that stands them up square. A smaller package suits work over small areas, where the point is shading rather than a continuous carpet, so work in sections and apply glue only where you will reach in the next moment. Once dry, tilt the scene, tap the excess onto paper and keep it. A forest floor looks believable when it is uneven: let the bare surface show through in places, add small twigs and dust the area with pigment.
The package holds 20 grams of fibers 2 to 3 millimeters long. The glue, a static grass applicator, a base and other scenery material are not included, unless stated otherwise.
