German deformed fuel barrels of 200 liters capacity with traces of shelling, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The two-hundred-liter barrel was the basic transport container for fuel. It was carried on trucks, stacked at supply points and piled up at workshops. The thin sheet of such a barrel withstands nothing: a nearby explosion is enough and the wall is dented, holed or torn open. That is exactly why damaged examples are among the most common small things in battlefield scenes, where at first glance they explain what happened in the place.
According to the name it is German fuel barrels of 200 liters capacity in 1:35 scale, rendered as deformed, with traces of shelling. The damage is shaped directly on the part, so the dents do not have to be beaten in afterwards.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for preparing and gluing the parts, but in any case degrease the surface before painting. Start with a dark base, apply the color of the barrel over it and then suggest the chipped paint with a sponge or the tip of a brush, mainly on the edges and around the damaged places. Bring out the edges of the holes with a dark glaze and rust, because it is exactly there that bare sheet corrodes fastest. Suggest leaking fuel with a glossy layer only in a narrow strip below the opening.
The set is for builders of battlefield dioramas and for completing a display case with equipment. Paints, glue and a diorama base are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
