Turned 102 mm QF Mk.V barrels in 1:350 scale from the maker Aber. A set of 16 metal barrels for Royal Navy ships.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of sixteen turned metal barrels in 1:350 scale from the Polish maker Aber. They replace the plastic barrels of the guns of 102 mm caliber of the QF Mk.V type on models of Royal Navy ships. It is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship.
Guns of 102 mm caliber of the QF type served as the dual-purpose and anti-aircraft armament of British vessels. Turned metal captures the slender profile and the muzzle more faithfully than injection-molded plastic and raises the overall realism of a model.
Cut the plastic barrels off and replace them with the metal parts. Square up the ends, degrease the brass and roughen it lightly, then glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Use a primer for metals before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
