Reskit 1:48 Mk.84 bombs with BSU-36/B (2 pieces) is a 3D-printed resin set of aerial bombs for superdetailing models of combat aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two Mk.84 aerial bombs with the BSU-36/B retarding tail unit in 3D-printed resin in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but add-on underwing stores to be hung under models of combat aircraft. It suits models of types such as the F-15E, F-16, F-111F, AV-8B and F/A-18D.
The Mk.84 is an American unguided aerial bomb of the 2000 lb weight class from the Mark 80 family. The BSU-36/B tail unit is a retarding assembly that slows the fall of the bomb after release and allows a safer drop from low altitude.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Apply a primer and then the colors of the scheme you choose, and add the stenciling on the body of the bomb.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
