An accessory set of resin landing gear wheels for a model of the OV-10 Bronco in 1:32 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit. This is not a kit of an airplane; it is a replacement for the kit wheels that will give a large model more accurate and more sculptural landing gear.
The OV-10 Bronco, an American twin-boom turboprop machine made famous in the role of forward air controller and light attack aircraft in Vietnam, stands on robust landing gear that in 1:32 scale is literally in plain sight. Resin castings offer fine drawing of the rims and a clean tire shape, and the seam left by gluing the halves of kit wheels together falls away; on a model of this size it is a detail a viewer registers at once.
Wash the wheels clean of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the marks down. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and prime before painting. Paint the rims separately, even the tires out with a very dark gray instead of pure black, and finally liven everything up with fine dust toning, because the Bronco operated from field strips, so lightly dusty landing gear suits it.
This is an accessory set: the base model of the airplane is not included in the package.
