Thunderchief: a standing airman, type 2 form, 1:32 scale offers a second stance variant for peopling a display case beside a large model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second stance variant for the same machine. The subject is the Thunderchief in the D, F and G versions and the pose is described as standing number two. Together with the type 1 variant it makes a pair at a model that brings a scene to life at once.
The letter after the number on a Thunderchief says which machine it is. The D version was single-seat and carried out classic strikes on ground targets. The F and G versions had two crew members and specialized in finding and destroying antiaircraft systems, that is, work nicknamed hunting in the places where nobody wants to be. For a modeler that means that with a two-seat machine it makes sense to have two figures and to arrange them so that the division of roles can be seen.
It pays to settle on one light source and to lead the highlights and shadows over the whole figure according to it. Without that you get a flat impression, which in a larger scale is very noticeable. Paint the patches and small markings only onto finished coveralls, and simplify them with a clear conscience, because the viewer's eye will fill the rest in. Finally pick the harness out with a thin line of a darker tone.
The modeler provides the painting from their own supplies.
