Seat belts are among the elements that catch the eye first in a cockpit. Belts molded onto a plastic seat look flat, whereas a belt thrown loosely over the edge with a metal buckle gives an open cockpit depth. This set offers the belts of American fighter aircraft of the Second World War in 1:32 scale.
The set holds colored straps and metal buckles to go with them, as the product designation states. The combination of a thin strap and a separate buckle lets you bend the belt, drape it over the edge of the seat or leave it hanging freely, which is hard to achieve with the plastic parts of a kit.
The set is intended for any kit in the given scale, so the length of the belts usually has to be adapted to the particular seat.
