This is a photo-etched detail set, not a standalone model. The metal photo-etch in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds completes a model of the Nakajima Type 90 (A2N) carrier biplane fighter with fine parts that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic.
The Nakajima A2N Type 90 was an early carrier biplane fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy from the first half of the 1930s. It served on the decks of aircraft carriers and represented the typical light, agile machine of its day, with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit.
The set holds fine photo-etched parts for increasing realism, for example cockpit items, bracing and small fittings. Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife, make the folds over a metal ruler and bond them with super glue. We recommend degreasing the photo-etch before painting.
