A cast diorama floor board in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Plusmodel. The surface reproduces laid wooden parquet with finely suggested wood grain and joints between the boards. The dimension of the board is about 190x130 mm.
It is not a kit but a scenic base for an interior diorama or a display base. A parquet floor gives a scene the look of a residential or formal interior, for example a room, a hall or a headquarters.
Clean the board, fill any small bubbles and sand the surface lightly if need be. Wood takes glazing paints or thin oil shades applied in the direction of the boards well; bring out the joints with a dark wash and fine-tune the gloss of the floor with varnish according to the age you want.
