The Piper L-4 Grasshopper was the military version of the civilian Piper Cub, and in the Second World War it served above all for artillery observation, liaison and reconnaissance. The machine Rosie The Rocketer became famous for its unusual armament in the form of anti-tank rockets slung under the wings, with which its pilot scored successes against ground vehicles.
Build the tube frame of the cabin and the glazing carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; fine parts can be secured with cyanoacrylate glue. The doped fabric covering and the olive green finish come out best once a primer and a light patina have been applied; a gloss clear coat will make the decals easier to lay down.
