1:35 T-34 500mm “V” standard pattern 1942-43 tracks

Resin tracks 1:35 for the T-34, standard 500 mm V pattern, 1942 to 1943 (Panzer Art)

An add-on detail set, not a model in its own right. The set holds replacement tracks cast in resin for the Soviet T-34 medium tank in 1:35 scale, in the standard 500 mm V track form matching the years 1942 to 1943.

The real subject

In 1942 and 1943 production of the T-34 got fully under way and a number of details settled down, including the widespread standard track pattern. This form suits a large part of the tanks committed in that key period of the war. Faithful tracks underline the realistic look of the running gear.

Usage tips

Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Finish the road wheels first, then fit the tracks. Weathering and mud are fine-tuned with washes and pigments.

Who the set is for

• Builders of T-34s of 1942 to 1943
• Modelers for whom the tracks from the box are not enough
• More advanced enthusiasts used to resin

The set holds replacement tracks only. The base model, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
