An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Valentine infantry tank in its Mk.II version, in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The set is supplied unassembled and is meant to be glued and painted. Depending on the form, besides the plastic parts it holds additions that raise the detail; for the exact package contents, go by the particular edition.
The Valentine was a British infantry tank designed by Vickers-Armstrongs and committed from 1941. It stood out for armor of the infantry category, a fairly low silhouette and reliability. The Mk.II version carried a 2-pounder (40 mm) gun and was powered by a diesel engine. Vehicles of this type served with British as well as Allied units, and among other things they were delivered in large numbers to the Soviet Union.
We recommend starting with the running gear and the wheels, and only then closing the hull. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement, and apply a base color (primer) before painting. Spray the final shade and the markings with an airbrush and finish the surface with washes and pigments to suggest dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
