The set brings 3D printed resin wheels for a model of the A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The tires have a realistically flattened contact patch that imitates the deformation of the rubber under the weight of a standing aircraft. It is not an airplane kit but a detail replacement for the kit wheels.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat twin-engine attack aircraft intended for close support of ground forces and for destroying armored vehicles. Its rugged landing gear and hefty tires are among the characteristic features that the weighted wheels capture faithfully.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the supports and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the wheels with super glue. Spray the hubs and the tires separately, the tires in a flat dark gray (not pure black) and the hubs according to the particular machine; the weighted area can be picked out with a fine dust pigment.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
