AN-M57 aerial bombs (250 lb, box-type fin, 8 pcs) in 1:48 scale from Reskit. A resin, 3D-printed armament set for models of American and British aircraft of the Second World War and Korea.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains eight 3D-printed resin replicas of the American 250 lb AN-M57 high-explosive bomb with the box-type tail fin assembly. It serves as a faithful addition to the underwing armament of models, not as a standalone kit. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The AN-M57 was the standard American 250 lb general-purpose bomb used in the Second World War and in the Korean War. It was carried by a whole range of aircraft of the US Army Air Forces and, in Korea, of the US Air Force, as well as by the Royal Air Force. The square, box-type tail unit is the typical mark of this variant.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Use respiratory protection when sanding. A primer is advisable; bombs are usually sprayed olive drab or bright metal and completed with colored bands according to their service.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
