Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X 3D instrument panel 1:48 (Red Fox Studio) is a pre-painted acrylic instrument panel and cockpit detail for a model of this British twin-engine aircraft from Tamiya. It is neither a kit nor a wet decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Red Fox Studio is a fully pre-painted three-dimensional (3D) instrument panel and cockpit details made of thin acrylic. It is not a kit and not a waterslide decal either, but a finished surface detail glued directly onto the plastic interior. The dials have a hyperrealistic print with an imitation of the sheen of the glasses, and the set is made to measure for the kit of the torpedo version TF Mk.X from Tamiya in 1:48 scale.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and strike aircraft of the Second World War. The TF Mk.X version, nicknamed the Torbeau, served with RAF Coastal Command for attacks on ships with rockets and torpedoes. The machine stood out for its heavy firepower and was the scourge of enemy coastal shipping. The roomy pilot compartment offers a rewarding target for detailed improvement.
The parts are separated from the carrier frame and glued onto the interior, best with super glue (cyanoacrylate); PVA glue is also possible. The surface will take fine washes and matting down with acrylic varnish. Before gluing, we recommend checking the fit dry.
It is an interior detail accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
