A resin detail set of wheels intended for models of the British jet bomber English Electric (BAC) Canberra in 1:48 scale. The precisely cast parts replace the plastic wheels from the box and have fine tire tread and a faithful shape of the hubs. It is an aftermarket accessory, not a model of the aircraft.
The English Electric Canberra was a British jet bomber of the 1950s, a capable, high-flying machine that was used for bombing, reconnaissance and training and served in many countries for whole decades. Sturdy wheels carried a heavy aircraft and a faithful execution of them will benefit a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and sand the faces with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The tires come into their own in a matte blackish gray with a light patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model in its own right but a detail set; glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
