A 3D-printed resin engine exhaust nozzle for the F-104 A/C/D/J/G Starfighter fighter in 1:48 scale. An accessory for the Hasegawa / Eduard kit, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed engine exhaust nozzle made by direct 3D printing from resin by Reskit, intended for a model of the American fighter Lockheed F-104 Starfighter (the A, C, D, J and G versions) in 1:48 scale. This variant is conceived for the kits from Hasegawa and Eduard. It is a resin replacement for the tail end for more experienced modelers, not a standalone aircraft model.
The F-104 Starfighter was powered by the General Electric J79 jet engine with an afterburner. The exhaust nozzle with its movable petals is a prominent visual feature of the tail of the aircraft, so a faithful rendering of it does the model good.
Wash the parts to remove any print resin residue, cut off the print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring the inside of the nozzle to life by layering metallic and heat-tinted shades and with a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory. The base aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
