The model corresponds to Taiwanese Block 20 machines upgraded to the F-16V standard. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engined multi-role fighter, one of the most widespread in the world. The F-16V (Viper) designation is the latest upgrade standard, whose main element is a modern radar with an electronically scanned array (AESA), new avionics and an upgraded cockpit. Taiwan is gradually upgrading its fleet of Block 20 machines to this standard in order to keep its combat capability against a modern opponent. The aircraft carries a wide range of guided and unguided weapons on underwing and under-fuselage pylons.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic; finish and paint the cockpit interior and the landing gear bays before you close up the fuselage. The canopy glazing is large and prominent — mask it before spraying. Apply the gray camouflage shades with an airbrush over a primer and bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. Assemble the external stores and the tanks separately and fit them at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
