A resin detail set from the Czech brand CMK in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a complete cockpit replacement with which you raise the fidelity of the interior of a model of the British Folland Gnat T.1 trainer. The set holds a new cockpit tub, side consoles, instrument panels, control columns, the pilots' seats and further details. It is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Folland Gnat T.1 was a British two-seat jet trainer, a small and nimble machine on which future RAF fighter pilots were schooled. It was also made famous by the British Red Arrows display team, which flew Gnats as its display aircraft for a number of years.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding. The cockpit comes into its own after painting with an airbrush, picking out the instruments and light weathering. Finish the interior before closing the fuselage.
The set holds resin interior parts only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
