1:48 J35F/J (O,S) Draken Advanced masks

Saab J35 Draken (F/J) spray masks - Advanced, 1:48 (New Ware)

A set of precisely pre-cut masks in kabuki paper from the Czech brand New Ware. The Advanced form covers the canopy glazing including the frames, the other transparent parts, the landing gear wheels and masks for spraying camouflage. The masks hold with no paint creeping under and leave no adhesive residue once removed. This is an accessory for masking, not a kit.

The real subject

The Saab J35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic interceptor with a characteristic double delta wing. The later J35F and J35J versions were among the most capable and the longest serving machines of the Swedish Air Force.

Use

• Transfer the masks from the sheet, seat them exactly on the part and press the edges down.
• Spray in thin coats so that the paint does not creep under the edge of a mask.
• Mask the wheels and the frames of the glazing according to the enclosed plan.
• Remove a mask while the paint has just set, for a crisp transition.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Draken F/J in 1:48 scale who want clean masking without lengthy cutting.

This is a set of masks on its own. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
