A resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Aires. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory intended for kits of the Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter fighter from Italeri and Revell. To use it you need one of these base kits, as the set does not replace it but only improves the tail of the aircraft.
The set replaces the simplified plastic exhaust nozzles with more accurate resin parts with a faithful internal structure and finer casting. The tail of the F-5A with the nozzles of its General Electric J85 engines is a prominent feature in view, so a detailed nozzle noticeably raises the realism of a finished model.
These are resin parts for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue (lukewarm water with detergent), cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection, as resin dust is harmful to health. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and check the seating dry beforehand. It pays to paint the inside of the nozzle in shades of burnt metal and accent it with a fine wash.
