A resin set of replacement wheels from Reskit for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and the Ta-152 in late form, 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithfully made parts. The Type 1 designation distinguishes the particular form of the rim and the tire tread of late machines; the Type 2 variant is offered separately.
The Focke-Wulf Fw-190 was among the most important German fighters of the Second World War and in its late phase it saw a whole series of modifications. The high-altitude Ta-152 followed on from it directly and was intended for combat at great heights.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release agent residue and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tire and the rim separately for easier masking. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
