A set of two 3D-printed resin Red Top missiles in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for underwing armament, not an aircraft kit. It offers a more faithful shape and surface than plastic missiles and completes the correct armament of British Cold War fighters.
Red Top was a British infrared-guided missile of short to medium range, derived from the earlier Firestreak. It was carried by machines such as the English Electric Lightning, the Sea Vixen and the Hawker Hunter. It is marked out by its large conical seeker head and by wings set at mid-body.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them away from the print supports and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a fine base coat and an airbrush; the body is usually light with markings picked out in color.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
