X-28 Park Green is an acrylic paint from the maker Tamiya from the Acrylic MINI range in a bottle with a volume of 10 ml. It is a saturated park green with a gloss surface, because Tamiya reserves the designation X for gloss shades, while the matte ones carry the designation XF. It is an ordinary opaque paint: it is applied across a surface and covers the base, unlike the transparent tinting shades of the same range.
Stir the paint properly before use, because the pigment settles. For an airbrush, thin it with Tamiya X-20A thinner and spray in several thin coats, because one heavy coat runs and loses its gloss. The saturation of the green stands out best on a light, even base, so it pays to use a primer. If you want a matte or satin look, mix the flattening additive Tamiya X-21 Flat Base into the paint. Before it dries, the paint and your tools can be washed with water.
For modelers of civil and municipal vehicles, for builders of dioramas and for anyone who needs a bright gloss green in a small package. A volume of 10 ml is practical for accessories, details and mixing, where a large bottle would dry out needlessly.
